For new built rolling stock or depots and refurbishment projects – once the financing and procurement is closed, the design, production and then delivery after tests commences. Many financial investors do not have inhouse expertise to manage such contracts in their role as buyer/owner and require project management support that represents their interests throughout this process. Apex Rail has extensive experiences and covers the contractual and commercial management whilst the technical project management is usually provided by technical experts.
SCOPE OF WORK
TYPICAL SCOPE OF WORK FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Review of other related contracts (incl. Financing Agreement) to define overall scope of deliverables and duties affecting the Lessor and to prepare and manage a comprehensive risk register
Monitoring and managing of the timely delivery of all deliverables both to and from the Lessor
Management of contract compliance (incl. monitoring and administration of milestone payments, receipt of compliant securities/bonds, insurances provisions, certifications, protocols, CPs etc.)
Management of all Lessor related relevant communication with 3rd parties incl. manufacturer, lessee, authorities (i.e. PTA) – involving the Investors if and when required, only
Reporting to Lessor about material events (i.e. delays, insurance events etc.) and supporting the management of corrective actions
Management of Variations and Modifications (voluntary and mandatory) impacting the MSA or Lease Agreement
Attending relevant design, project and other relevant review meetings on behalf of the Lessor
Participation in the acceptance process, in particular from a contractual perspective
Administration and acceptance, payment and documentation of other Deliverables
