Developing Whole Life Cost Models for rolling stock assets
Throughout the life of a rail asset the owner and/or user are faced with various costs. Often parties that run a tender to procure the most cost-optimal solution only look at the cost on day 1, i.e. the costs of procuring the asset from the manufacturer. By leveraging our knowledge of the rail sector and engaging a specialist financial modeling firm we help our clients to look beyond the costs of purchasing their asset and develop a model that will give the client insight in the cost over the whole asset life cycle.
